LimeLight is dedicated to building an audience composed of listeners, readers, and spectators keen to the art of Asian Americans. We draw attention to artistic projects of Asian American visionaries, in order to channel the appreciation their work deserves. By providing students access to the past and current art movements, while adopting projects to support promising Asian American artists, both amateur and professional, we serve as a community of people dedicated to furthering and fortifying an individual's creative identify. We want to stress the importance of the individual in creating the Asian American genre, and their unconscious expression through an art form, unrestricted by labels or categories, in creating a cultural foothold for Asian Americans in the larger American narrative.
